I remember the first time I vacationed in Tittie dem locals promised to take me on a "river lime".
We eventually stopped by a small creek and everyone got out. It was only then that I realized we were at the "river".

Using sweat on a cricket ball is allowed. But applying saliva to the ball has been banned since the 2020 covid pandemic. Applying sunscreen to the ball is banned, so a player lathered with sunscreen on face and arms should be careful not to put sweat mixed with sunscreen on the ball. I suspect that applying sunscreen changes the aerodynamics of the ball, but natural sweat does not.

We have always had world class cyclists,we have qualified for hockey WC s,and football WC and Gold Cups.Jamaica has now taken over as the best in football we are 2nd best,we once shared Netball World Champions in 79 with New Zealand,tell me what I miss,we don't do too badly in Athletics,they only play cricket and still they end up being unfair,leave dem alone.

Sadly , you missed the gist of what T&T calls a river lime.
It's not the river; it's the company of friends and family. They cook, drink, and enjoy music.
It's often in remote locations.
If they want to swim, they go to the Gulf of Paria, the Atlantic Ocean, the Columbus Channel, and the Caribbean Sea.
The water is not mud brown as your seawall Atlantic Ocean.

Without the details of the offence(s) I too am bemused as to the
guilty plea. Picking the seam of the ball or putting substance such as vaseline or even
spit,is not allowed. Sweat when applied is ok from what I know previously.
In any case, Guyana were so much better than all the teams throughout the season,that
the case seems meritless. Well deserved three-peat champs/
