Congrats to Calabar (4x100) and KC (4x400) on their Penn Relays championships victories. In the 4x4, KC ran a time 3:05.93, the second fastest time in high school history, trailing only CHS's fabled 3:03.79. Spare a thought for JC, who ended up 5th with a performance that would have won every Penn Relays save this one and CHS's record run.

KC won the race without the high school 400m champion. Quincy Wilson from Bullis High school split 43.9 on his leg to lead his school to a 2nd place finish.

Not much fanfare around Penn this year; it's a bit low-key.

I think that the changed schedule they implemented in the last 2-3 yrs sucks.

The large Saturday crowd used to be treated to all of the big high school championship races, both girls and boys. Those races, with the Jamaican rivalries on the track and in the stands, made the Penn.

But today, there were only 3 of those races. All girls.

How many people could take Friday off to see the boys (and then return next day)?
