The video of his celebration after his drafting looks kind of ridiculous, not much players will be celebrating being drafted in the 5th round when they were expected to be drafted in the 1st round.

I read an article that suggested he should return to college (but not at Colorado) and re-enter the draft next year. The reason given was that he stands to make more $$ from NIL than a rookie contract outside of the first 2 rounds of the draft. Of course the current NCAAA rules does not allow for returning to college once a player has declared for the draft. But then again , just a few short years ago college athletes were not allowed to profit from their Name, Image and Likeness.

There's that too. That's what muddies the water. NFL, to some, is very much a modern day plantation.

On this date 25 years ago, April 16, 2000, Tom Brady was selected in the 6th round NFL Draft by the New England Patriots. The 199th overall pick went on to win ...

Shedeur did not attend any of the pre-draft invited routines that was requested by the NFL.....Jerry Jones had to go public that he would vouch for Shedeur... do U smell COLLUSION?
His father was on the Tamran Hall show the day before the draft saying - if the right team didnt draft him he would not let him sign with them... Shedeur might not be rich but his father is.

I'll leave this here as a reply to the usual nonsense.

In countering the unsupported racism narrative, Avery pointed to the top of the draft. The Tennessee Titans selected former Miami standout Cam Ward first overall. What’s more, during each of the past three NFL drafts, Black quarterbacks were selected first overall, and seven were picked in the opening round.

Black quarterbacks have won the last three Super Bowl Most Valuable Player awards, two of the last three league Associated Press MVP awards and the last two AP Offensive Rookie of the Year awards. In the NFL, this is the era of the Black quarterback. To cry racism because one player was not drafted where so-called draft experts believed he would be picked is ridiculous, Avery believes.
