1.5
Mitchell Starc to Jacob Bethell, SIX, what a shot! 142.7kph length ball angling towards leg-stump, Jacob Bethell sets up a good base for himself and plays a pick up shot over deep square leg for a flat maximum. Generated good power with his wrists

1.6
Mitchell Starc to Jacob Bethell, FOUR, Jacob Bethell has got srong wrists! Good length ball angling in from around off, he lines it up whips it over mid-wicket to find the fence this time. Expensive start from Mitchell Starc, 15 off the over

Narper 2025-04-27 16:15:32

2.2
Axar to Jacob Bethell, out Caught by Karun Nair!! Jacob Bethell showed sparks of brilliance in his short stay but Axar gets the better of him. Axar smartly slows his pace on this one as bowls it on the shorter side at 85.5kph on leg-stump. Jacob Bethell rocks to pull it across but is not able to generate enough power behind it. Karun runs in from deep backward square leg and dives in front to take a well-judged catch

Jacob Bethell c Karun Nair b Axar 12(6) [4s-1 6s-1]

Narper 2025-04-27 16:17:02

2.4
Axar to Padikkal, out Bowled!!Chopped on! Axar only picked one wicket in the eight matches before this game this season and now, he picks up two wickets in a space of three balls. Axar darts this one on the shorter side at 100kph outside off, Padikkal perhaps expected it to turn but it slid on. He tries to chop it half-heartedly square of the wicket on the off-side but only manages to get an inside edge which deflects

Padikkal b Axar 0(2)

Mukesh Kumar to Kohli, out Rajat Patidar Run Out!! DC are on the charge! Good reflexes and also some good decision-making from Karun Nair. Fuller length ball, Kohli flicked it towards mid-wicket. Rajat Patidar took off for a run but he was rightly sent back. Karun Nair collects the ball and hits the bull's eye. The dive from Rajat Patidar couldn't save him. It was a flat and accurate throw from Karun. He moved across to his right and had only one stump to aim-at

Rajat Patidar run out (Karun Nair) 6(6) [4s-1]

17.5
Chameera to Kohli, out Caught by Mitchell Starc!! Too late? Starc was at the edge of the fence and takes it. His calm hands under pressure is what DC wanted and Starc has taken a very smart catch in the end. Was a length delivery, well outside off, Kohli looked to launch it inside out but failed to get it over the fence. Got it too high and the distance was missing on the shot.

Kohli c Mitchell Starc b Chameera 51(47) [4s-4]

18.1
Mukesh Kumar to Tim David, SIX, Mukesh wasn't having a great day! Not the right call I feel. A low full toss and Tim David gets under it and lofts it over the man at long-off. That was hit flat and over

Narper 2025-04-27 17:42:05

18.2
Mukesh Kumar to Tim David, no ball, FOUR, Tim David finishing it off for RCB as he has before. That was a short ball, angled in, Tim David pulled it over square leg. He failed to land that. Might well be a high no-ball as well. Mukesh Kumar has been under immense pressure. Poor call from Axar to give this over to Mukesh. Might get away here Mukesh but that was still pretty here. He hasn't been able to land the yorkers today. No-ball called. This should be the game for RCB. Free-hit coming up...Mukesh has been hapless tonight

Narper 2025-04-27 17:44:37

18.2
fuller length delivery, outside off, Tim David gets the bat down and slams it wide of the man at deep point. Few days ago, Mukesh was taken to the cleaners by David but the skipper ignored that I guess

18.3
Mukesh Kumar to Tim David, FOUR, fuller length delivery, on the sticks, heaved away behind square for a four. That was timed and placed really well. Starc won't bowl his final over. Poor from DC and they lose this by 6 wickets. David with a fine little cameo helping his side to go to the pole position

Virat Kohli:
It was a top win, especially looking at the surface. This wicket played very differently to the other games. Whenever there is a chase on I keep checking with the dugout if we are on course, what is my role etc. Krunal.. today was his day. We were waiting for him to come into the tournament with the bat. Who are the bowlers to target. I try and ensure I don't stop my singles and doubles and combine with the occasional boundary. This year you can't just come out and hit, you have to assess, understand the conditions and then plan accordingly. We have communicated beautifully as a team in the batting and that's the reason we have 7 wins out of 10. It's looking good for us. We have Romario (Shepherd) after Tim (David) as well for extra added power. That firepower at the back end definitely helps. Hazlewood and Bhuvi are world class bowlers. There's a reason why he has the Purple Cap on his head. Krunal bowled well too. Don't forget that Suyash can be the dark horse as well. He may not have got the wickets but he has been good
