PORT-OF-SPAIN, Trinidad- Trinidad & Tobago legions fast bowler Joshua James, was reported for a suspect bowling action during the ongoing West Indies Breakout League. James’ action was cited by match officials during the first two matches against Barbados Pelicans on April 25 and Guyana Rainforest Rangers on April 26 at the Brian Lara Cricket Academy in Trinidad.

This is gross negligence by the Trinidadian cricket officials from school cricket level to now. Why no one said anything to James all these years? It is easy to see that his action is illegal.

The crazy thing about Beaton is he does not pelt every ball, so obviously he knows to bowl. He was a waste of talent, he had the opportunity of having a good career but threw it away because of lack of self-control. Hopefully James corrects his way, he also has talent and could have a lucrative career if he gets his action righted.

Every time I hear someone accusing a bowler with hyper extension of the elbow of pelting, it immediately tells me that person knows fcuk all about the game.
