Aussie tactics ...simple

Permit their bowlers to leave leg-side footprints on the wicket.
Take a look at this in the video.

Legspinner Warne then comes in and tries to hit such rough areas.
Observe that Hooper stopped him; he met the balls before they reached these areas on the wicket.

When Warne bowls the ball, it turns toward the stumps when he hits these spots with leg spin.

A ball of the century was witnessed.

No one replicated such, huh?
