Not in the league of Sir Kraigg Brathwaite... therefore Kohli can't be considered a great test batsman

By no measure is he a Test great—especially the measure used around here (average 50).

If you were picking an all-time test X1, would Kohli’s name be mentioned? He wouldn’t even make an all time test 50

No he is not and neither is Desmond Lewis. Take your provocative self elsewhere.
No one player enamors me. I evaluate what I have seen, and Kholi is an outstanding Test batter but not a great.

I think he was a great batsman among his contemporaries in his career, and one of the greats from India. His ability in the chase, especially in ODI's, I believe, was remarkable.

How is Kanhai great and he can’t make an all time WI XI?
Unless you saying he’s a Guyanese great to which there is no doubt.
Ditto for Shiv
Ditto for Kalli (one of my favourite batsmen of all time)

How is Kanhai great and he can’t make an all time WI XI?
Are you saying you can't have more than eleven great WI players [or more than 6 batsmen].
Anyway Kanhai plays in my all time WI XI

In my book a 50 test ave should not be the only criterion for greatness.
A great batsman is one who have played many great test innings....those which have influenced the outcome of the match and/or which have thoroughly satisfied and entertained fans .

All batsmen have peaks and valleys throughout a career. However, ultimately they are judged on their overall body of work. In my view, Kohli will be remembered as a very good Test batsman as opposed to a great one. By comparison, Gavaskar and Tendulkar, were great Test batsmen.

The last decade was the era of Kohli, Root and Stephen Smith, three great middle-order batsmen.
Virat Kohli 30 tons 46.85
Joe Root 36 tons 50.87
Steve Smith 36 tons 56.74
Not all great players would make a country's all-time playing squad
Shiv or Rohan will not make a West Indies all-time 15-man team.
