Fair comment. Congrats to the Titans for winning the inaugural tournament and congrats to the organizers.

Standard was not great, especially the fielding, but got to start somewhere and this was a much needed avenue into T20 leagues. Perhaps there needs to be a (more) intensive pre-tournament training camp (Stanford style) but can't knock the initiative. The measure to ensure legspinners played an integral part was for me the biggest success and it proved, yes, that our batsmen cant play wristpin, but also that we have some decent young prospects around.

They routinely give bonus points for fast bowling. Have they incorporated something similar for wrist spin?

Maybe they don't want the Yardie posters to get all teary-eyed seeing that it's the 1st trophy in years won by any 'affiliate'.

Those Yardies might just revert to behaving like they did during the Tamar Lambert leadership years.
