West Indies allow their players to feature in remainder of IPL 2025

Cricket West Indies (CWI) to allow its players to complete their IPL engagements even though the West Indies team will be involved in international matches. The decision of CWI should be a huge relief for many IPL franchises, particularly Gujarat Titans and Royal Challengers Bengaluru, who will miss out on a few key players due to their international commitments.

Of particular significance is the presence of Sherfane Rutherford in Gujarat Titans and Romario Shepherd in RCB. Both have played a few impactful knocks and their full availability will be key for the two franchises, who have high chances of qualifying for the playoffs.

According to CWI, Shamar Joseph remains in the squad. John Campbell will replace Sherfane Rutherford for the Ireland leg, and Shimron Hetmyer, currently unavailable for the Ireland leg, will join the squad for the England matches. Jediah Blades will replace Romario Shepherd.
