Shai is concentrating on real cricket and making a living. It has nothing to do with deserving to be in the 11. Truth be told maybe just 3 or 4 players qualify for your benchmark.

Don't know where that onion chap gets his information from but Imlach was never involved in any ball tampering issue nor does he have a current case with CWI.

A man played a single FC match in years, stink up the place in his last 15 test matches or more and now he is elevated to the captaincy position? Some of us quick to to defend it because he's a homie. What exactly did he do to earn the position?

At least the others in onionman list played the entire season and performed consistently. Did Chase do the same?

Never sacrifice your best budding players... with no core test group....team in absolute flux..... against toughest tours... Australia in Caribbean...last time West Indies beat Australia 20 years back.... India in India,..29 years back.....N.Z. in N.Z. ... some 35 years back....

Roston Chase.... experience...... nothing to lose....a core team group can be built in these three series..... with allowing both Silva & Imlach to perform without any additional pressure...if things goes accordingly, Chase be replaced by Silva or Imlach....
