We are talking about a young man; not a 30-year-old fart!

Don’t just stop there now post the average of all the other batsmen during the tour of Australia.

Were they not other tours after OZ ? How did your boy fare then? He averages 16.92 in Test Cricket and you championing that ?

A fluke 50 vs OZ cannot disguise his level of mediocrity.

You never cease to display woefully, insular ignorance! What was Greenidge's average on his 2nd career tour which was 1st to Oz. What happened to Sars on his 2nd overseas tour (to Oz)?
Kirk Edwards'tour to England? Kirk is young , had a poor 1st tour of England. After 13 tests Athanaze averages 25, 14 vs Oz, 16 vs England but nice tutty-odd vs Bangla

I am not, you'll notice I've avoided most of the posts on McKenzie. But, I cannot stay silent on VOR's constant hypocrisy; he well knows the
woeful stats of supposed young talents but is pretending as if he doesn't know that Athanaze who has had more opportunities has as woeful a set of stats as
Kirk.

You quick to attack me but you run away from attacking the insularity of Slippery Fella who is promoting a 16.92 average player. The difference between Greenidge and Sarwan is that they dominated regionals!!! You head so dam hard!

Kirk just averaged 26+ in regionals. Athanaze got dropped from the Test /One day teams and I never once got up and said he should not be dropped!!!

If anything you are the hypocritical one as you are quick to come at me but not Slippery fella.

On basis of the batting stats of our last test series against Australia, we saw that both openers, Captain Braithwaite and Tage Chanderpaul failed miserably, of course due the fiery pace of their opening bowlers. Will be interesting to see which opening pair will be selected this time to face Australia. I wouldn’t be surprised if a Jamaican opening pair is selected to face the fire big grinbig grin
