WI Men’s test, ODI, T20, A team red ball, 50 over, & T20, U 19 teams
PLUS
WI women’s ODI, T20, 50 over , T20, and U 19 teams.
I believe it’s universally acknowledged that WI is the least financially resourced of the top 10 teams in the game.
And that’s just teams. CWI has a “robust” administrative make up. All of those people need to get paid.
Where is the money coming from to sustain these teams and admin?
I see fans calling for preparation matches on the Ireland tour, pre series camps for the Oz series etc.
Not to mention the reality of player availability due to the sheer amount of cricket being played and the already congested international cricket calendar.
All of these factors and more beg the question, given CWI’s financial challenges, can CWI really sustain all these teams and have ON FIELD success doing so?
