As I said in another post, fans are not concerned about the ODI batting of players like Hope and Carty, they are both excellent ODI batsmen. We are more concerned about their poor Test batting performances. Congratulations to Keacy, well-done young man. However, let’s not get carried away that a brilliant ODI performance will automatically translate into great Test scores, Hope has disproven that theory.

He would have played a lot of his cricket with Jahmar Hamiltoin in neighboring Anguilla.

However, since his continued performance, which seems to still be on up, I would try him again. My philosophy is to blood players for test in ODI.

Jahmar is like a Mentor. Jahmar was shafted by the Silly- lectors who only gave him one solitary test. Keacy should understand and appreciate that chances are fewer for those from the smaller islands and should capitalize on his opportunities when they come. He now averages 44.32 after 33 ODIS and has 5 x50 and 2X 100. Oh btw he was recently dropped from the Test team after just 5 tests.

What role would he have had?
Would you say the same about Devon Thomas? They both kept wickets.

I had a look at both players' stats. Who would drop Ramdin for either of them?
They both have one too many tests

Ramdin's stats were not spectacular with an average of 25 in 74 tests. They never really gave anyone else a proper chance.

I have no issue with Jahmar Hamilton feeling sidelined by WI.

He ain’t the first and won’t be the last

He and Devon Thomas far less for more deserving players like Rolston Otto from Leewards

Rangy Nanan from T&T

Nikita Miller from Jamaica

Permaul from Guyana

Irving Shillingford from Windwards

All legit entitled to feel they’ve been wronged by WI selectors

And many more

Meanwhile……Bajans vex because Kevin Stoute never get pick for WI senior team as captain or player cool

Your spar music man arguing with vor on inconsequential revo and tit players. Geezer still found a way to attack Bajans. Geezer has no respect for island which intro cricket to the region circa late 19th century.lol

listen Vor! is time you stop talking that limited opportunity for small Islanders tripe. Name one small Islander that wasn't given a fair shot in the last twenty years. Same thing with the Indo Caribbean people saying they are left out because of race. It is all bull shit. If you are performing you will play.

1. In the last 20 years we had a non-performing captain.
2. In the past 20 years, Nikita Miller and to a lesser extent Permaul performed and never got selected.
