Yes, he is an absolute talent, however, his returns have been paltry. He needs a break from the starting line-up, let someone else get an opportunity.

Well, it is a revelation, Athanaze is finding out what he has to improve on, both his batting and captaincy need work.

he took too long to get off, he won't make it again, probably the psychological hurdle is getting too high.

mediocrity is embraced so highly in the caribbean this guy i can't even say is a regional bully cause he hardly dominates at first class level and his test career is not nothing to write home about either after over 10 matches.so how is he the brightest star in the caribbean because he looks good playing shots for 20 to 30 runs.

Why are they saddling the youth with captaincy when he should focus on his batting? To be a captain or a leader, one must have a commanding presence - Athanaze does not!

Are you around the team dynamics to know and understand who is captaincy material? Ok he doesn't have a commanding presence but is that the only or defining criteria? Obviously those who know, have made the call that he is leadership material.

the same management mistake was made with Hope, guy should have returned to the regionals to develop some confidence and brought back when he does.

By playing your best talents..Athanaze, Wickham, Anderson against toughest opposites.....expose the flaws... rectify the same.... that's the main objective of A- tours.....
