Nah.
I watched Motie bowl and that joker is not a thinking bowler. He has no variation in his delivery neither in flight nor line and length.
Motie bowls one way and he either takes a wicket or not, but not because of guile.
That is why I think Warrican will be eating his lunch moving forward.

There is nothing to defend here.
If Motie takes wickets the way he bowls, that is just luck.

Motie tangled between white ball and red ball.... performing badly in both....bowling too fast .......Sudden rise of Warican , put him under tremendous pressure to perform in every match...just few series back, he was first choice spinner, both in white and red ball....now, with Warican as Vice captain....Motie test spot gone..

Just, sit with coach...relax...got loads of talent... work hard...

Great analysis, with the advent of sophisticated video equipment, the batsmen have him figured out. he needs to go back to the drawing board,

Surprised by this headline. I think its trying to play white ball cricket that is destroying his game.

the headline was tongue in cheek I think. Motie needs to get back to basics. I still think that he is an excellent bowler but he seems to have lost his mojo over the past 12 months or so.

I am just curious here.
Does the bowling coach see what we are seeing?
Motie is bowling a little too fast for a spinner.
That does not mean he cannot have a fast or fast balls in his repertoire, but these are supposed to surprise a batsman and not something to anticipate - an exception rather than the rule.
In watching that match against Ireland, there was no flight in his action. He is more likely to get turn with the flight than pushing the ball through every single time.
The coach needs to pay attention to both his pacers and his spinners - that is, unless they are told repeatedly but do not listen.
West Indians are typically hard-headed by nature.

You are assuming the coach is not seeing things as you are and is not doing what you are suggesting.

Suppose the bowling coach is advising him to keep it low and quicker?

Come on Kay.
All the time?
There will be situations when the bowler will be so advised by the coach.
However, I have not seen to date any indication that Motie is being advised by the coach.
It just seems that when the ball is thrown to him, he goes into his spell with the same speed and action.
That is not to say he is not a good spinner, but subtle variations would make him a lot more effective.
