King of England flying on Canadian Govt plane

Carney very eager to stop the Trump 51st State joke, he invited King Charles for the Opening Speech of the Canadian Parliament but what I cannot understand is why Indigenous leaders in cultural clothing and drums at the airport to greet the King. They forget what happened the last they greeted the English??

They are saying to any provincial leader...they are the first nations.
There are treaties between the many tribes of the Six Nations and the Crown that precede the white man's governance.

Should any province wish to leave Canada, take all citizens wanting to go and leave.

The native Indians will stay in Canada.

I think the symbolism and message that Carney would like to convey to Trump is that Charles is King of Canada, so forget about this 51st State dream

Chrissy you should see the once bustling US lines at Canadian airports and cross the border endless lines, they are all now void of anyone. Canadians resolutely refused to travel into the US to shop or to visit. Now the mayors of major border cities are very concerned about the significant negative impact on businesses that thrived for years by Canadian shoppers, now Trump has caused many border businesses to close shop.
