I don’t understand why these guys tried to change who they are! Root, Williamson stick to the basics and just add a shot or two to their repertoire and are still successful in the short form!

you miss the point and mistake what is 'over-generalization' last 5 innings for WI has he looked settled, has he not swiped more times than not? When in that mode the good and very good balls are harder to negotiate than would otherwise be the case.
