The best person for the job is the current head coach... we don't need a specialist bowling coach when you got someone with all that skill as head coach.

De master of hiding could give these fellas a few tips so they could handle the situation better next time... maybe by clapping as hard as you can, that way you will annoy the skipper and he won't look in your direction.

Ravi looking like he out to give Cornwall some competition

Don’t know much about him as a coach. I know he’s been around the TKR setup but I don’t know in what capacity exactly. Obviously he’s made an impression on influential people.

I know he’s just started but the eye test shows that little if anything has changed with our bowling. Especially in the death overs.

I kept thinking the last EFFECTIVE death over specialists we had were Obed McCoy and Kesrick Williams.

We miss the notebook fuh real.

rampaul will get the criticism being the bowling coach but the wi have been struggling in one day cricket for a long time to find bowlers who can take wickets and keep it tight up front and in the middle overs against quality opposition .

No coach can help our bowlers. Again I have said it for years when Captains have been abused for field settings. No Captain can set a field to these jokers. No WI bowler can bowl to a plan. None can bowl 3 good balls in an over. And don't rush to tell me about a one off over or match. They all lack the discipline, dedication and hard hours daily of training to achieve consistent success at this level. Mind you, the same is true of the batsmen as well. They lack purpose, pride and commitment. We old cricket fans just keep wishing and hoping but our cricket is dead and will never rise again.

The plan has to be put together by Hope, Ravi and Sammy. I think that is a good three. I will back them to get the best out of the bowlers. Three good experienced thinkers.

Blaming any coach after few matches...... not reasonable......as far as West Indies beating England in England.... last time 2007....some 18 years back....400 very big.....but I believe that this team can beat England....my analysis.

..some tactical errors....

bowling opening spells of Forde and Seales too long despite runs barrage....

Spinners not properly utilise...

England always score very fast but at the same time lose wickets...they tend to be bowl out early...all top teams take advantage of the weakness.... England was 200 odds for 5....last recognised batters...but we faltered ...

2 matches more.....fingers crossed.....Rally!!!!

How? A lot of people misunderstand what coaching at the highest level is. They not their to fix technical problems on tour or fix mental ineptitude. They are there to provide strategies on game plans with the resources given as well as technical guidance on staying consistent and executing plans. Teaching international bowlers how to bowl 6 balls on a good length is basic shit!

A coach could bawl instructions from now until the end of the world, if the bowlers are not prepared and don't know how to execute consistently, there is nothing coach can do on the day. Some players do have bad days.

These are players picked to play the highest level. It is their responsibility to fine tune their skills and fix flaws in their own time through hundreds of hours preparation. This is how all the best players do it. They live and breathe the sport to improve their game.
