Jayden Seales to Root, FOUR, poor delivery and put away. Not much short, but short enough and Root was on to it in a flash. Pulls that wide of the man at

Forde to Brook, SIX, and the big shot comes. Massive blow from the skipper. Was dropped short, outside off, Brook fetches it from outside off and hits it with the breeze to send it over deep mid. Just a little

Forde to Brook, FOUR, wide, outside off, shortish, skidded on and Brook slaps it wide of mid-off for a four. Was smashed off the front foot again as he waited on that

5.4
Forde to Brook, FOUR, four more. Lovely use of the pace. Brook is playing the field. The third man was brought in, Brook arched back and dabbed it down wide of the man at short third man. Just focussed on placing it into the gapt

west indies should win this wan lol

46.2
Adil Rashid to Shai Hope, 1 run, a sitter and Root has put it down, England have been shabby in the field today, tossed up and drifting into the right-hander, Hope backed away and didn't get the elvation on the lofted drive, straight down Root's throat at long-on and he lets it pops out

16.2
Jacob Bethell to Keacy Carty, 1 run, oh dear, third dropped catch of the afternoon by England! This time it's Mahmood. Length ball sliding in on leg, Carty swipes across the line looking to go over backward square, doesn't get the elevation and Mahmood should've gobbled it with the reverse-cup. But he fails to hold on

5.1
Brydon Carse to Brandon King, FOUR, Windies will take this. Dropped again. Duckett once more being the culprit. The fielder jumped up and the ball touched his fingertips but went down to the third man fence. Was a fuller ball, outside off, Brandon King looked to drive and got the edge

3.2
Brydon Carse to Keacy Carty, no run, and dropped! That was a tough chance to the right of the man at second slip. The fielder flew to his right, got a hand on it but the ball popped out. These catches either do stick or not. Was a fuller ball, away from the body and the batter went for the drive

Forde to Root, no run, Root would consider himself very lucky. It looked out. But the height just about saving him. He was hit just above the knee roll. He was on his tip toe while trying to play that. The umpire I guess thought it was going over and his finger stayed down. Windies didn't hesitate to review it. But it was umpire's call on hitting

Forde to Root, FOUR, elegance personified from Root. That was a length delivery, outside off, Root got on to the front foot and drove it

Seriously frustrating that Forde bowls wides. He also seams and swings the ball more in the Caribbean. Weird that. He looks like decent village trundler so far in England.

Forde to Root, FOUR, to deep extra cover
7.4
Forde to Root, FOUR, fifty up! That was cut away. The batter went after that short one, got the edge and the ball flew over the man at first slip for a four. Root would consider himself lucky

Jayden Seales to Brook, FOUR, and the procession continues. He is riding his luck. Dances down, looks to drill it by backing away but the ball goes off the edge and over the leaping slip fielder for a four

Jayden Seales to Root, FOUR, and another four through the off-side. On to his back foot, hops up, hits it on top of the bounce and got it wide of the man at point for a four. These two would be unstoppable now it seems. They have got their eyes in and even good balls will disappear
