I tell you, if the West weren't so afraid of the supposed Russian military might, particularly its excess of nuclear weapons, which no fool in Europe would want to use, either first or second - air fallout going either East or West - and had given the weapons to Ukraine to force Putin‘s hand, this war would have ended a long time ago.
But, Biden, in particular, dithered and was reluctant to give Ukraine the weapons they needed, or when given, limited them in how they could be used.
One only has to look at how Ukraine destroyed Russian forces in the initial stages of the war to understand the fighting quality of the UDF and the country's determination not to come under the control of Russia ever again.
The war became a drawn out affair because of a lack of a full commitment of the West in deed, which allowed Russia to recoup, mine the Eastern front and call upon China and North Korea for material and personnel support.
Then, with the election of Trump and the lack of a full commitment of his administration to the Ukraine cause, it allowed Putin to dig in further and to now amass 50,000 soldiers on the Ukraine northern front while pretending he wants a ceasefire, but on Putin's terms.
The war goes on.
