Excellent from Aljo today

Well done! In a very average ODI bowling attack, only you and to a lesser extent Seales show any form of potency with the ball.

Matthew Forde is young in the game, but having him open the bowling with his sammyesque 125-130 kmh bowling is a near travesty.

Motie isn’t bowling his full quota. While he hasn’t been consistently expensive, he’s like a eunuch in a brothel recently. No penetration whatsoever.

Seems like the plan is to share 10 overs of spin between Motie and Chase. So what? Motie is a part timer now? Or a bona fide all rounder? What’s his role in the team?

And why has Akeal Hosein been totally discarded? Did he refuse to play ODI’s? Because if that’s not the case, team
Management needs to do some ‘splainin.

Although you are on point.
Aljo has been inconsistent for a long time now.

With his pace and experience, he should be bowling thunderbolts by now.

Unfortunately I do not watch Windies anymore, so I missed his bowling today.

With Aljo, Shamar and Seales, Windies should be giving batsmen hell.
I suspect that the bowling coaches since Estwick suck.

Alzarri Joseph is by far our best limited overs pace bowler. Had he been handled properly today WI would have won that game easily. First he should have opened the bowling, secondly in his 2nd spell he should have been bowling with the wind where he achieved his initial success, then his 3rd spell was delayed when the game was already out of reach.

He is now ranked in the top of WI ODI bowlers and I have never had an issue with Alzarri the limited overs bowler but more Alzarri the Test bowler:

What WI need are better pitches in the Caribbean for him to continue being effective. Obviously the pitch played a big part in his effectiveness.

Well done, Aljo. Well done, Carty. Carty is seriously trying to make that International ODI team for 2025. As usual, our bowlers cannot defend any score but Kudos to Root. Great batsmen always turn up when needed.

Aljo has been top wickets taker pace bowler for West indies for last couple of years... although at times goes for runs....in this tour he has been very good....

Seales, still very new in white ball set up....the boy is learning....just few yard more....he can be world best...

Forde.... very new in international..... learning.... Shepherd and Holder also vying for that all rounder spot...Holder busy with PSL and Shepherd with IPL...
He had Root.... somewhat plumb....naked eyes...entire discussion would have been different....ifs and buts... notwithstanding.....I would like to give Forde a run ...for his all round abilities...

Motie.....the guy is bowling too fast.... it's nothing to do with abilities.... it's mind over matter....just few months back , he was premier spinner....but since Pakistan tour....Motie under tremendous pressure.... further, with Warrican as V.C. .....his test position almost surely...gone...for atleast a year....Motie should go back to basics and relax...

Akeal's absent should have be clarified by CWI....in press briefing......not team management...

Overall...the match was lost.... due to poor captaincy....Hope was more concerned about bowling 50 overs....when the match would have been over with 30 th over....Jack was last recognised batter... should have bowled out Joseph and Seales....the two wicket takers...Sammy should also share blame....

Sammy was caught napping..... should have been clapping and sending messages to cappi...
