If he was brave to open they should trust him for the last game and play him in the middle and give him the license to play greely

Rutherford flew all the way from India to join the team. He has a 71 average so this is a no-brainer.

I am not comparing anyone to Jewel Andrew and anyone who does that is foolhardy as he has only had two innings to play.

I am just saying we needed experience as we are trying to get points to get into WC automatic qualification so every win counts. If our best team is available then they must play. Jewel has immense potential and I am pretty sure his time will come. He will return to the WI the better and hopefully he will score big vs RSA A.

Brandon King has been a liability for some time. He plays some good shots then gets out and he only averages 29.42 after 51 ODIS. A poor man's Hooper, now it looks like he may play Test cricket. Still I am against Jewel opening.

west indies were getting caned before the ipl...........the players that performed well in odis tournaments for us(gayle bravo etc) also performed well in the ipl

While couple man average 70 ...49...45....the team as a whole average less than 250....which is nothing In ODI cricket now.
