Sammy team selection, specially playing Jewel, in different spots...
Hope was hopeless as captain especially in 2nd ODI... trying to bowl 50 overs....when a single wicket of either Jack or Root...West Indies would have won....Sammy was napping instead of clapping and sending messages to hopeless Hope...
Tactically, very poor...team management...over dependency of data....it should be data based instinctive decisions ......rather than robotic data based .....

I agree that it should be data-based guided decisions and not data-based robotic decisions. but the 2nd match was lost when Hope dropped a straight-forward catch that Root give before he made fifty, that was it, as the other English batters were having an ordinary day

If we discuss about dropped catches....Carty was dropped twice.....1 & 50+..... England dropped about 5 catches....
England were 130 for 5 in 24 overs....Chase got Bethel out.....was immediately removed....never brought back Aljo or Seales....pick of the bowlers....West Indies needed just one wicket to get into tail....even in 38th and 40 th over bowled by Chase giving away 25 runs... Bad captaincy....poor management...both Dammy and Hope were hopeless....

Well. you are right, it was Brooks that was dropped at 30 and not Root.
