Ask the JFF why they refused to renew Lorne Donaldson's contract. Second round in World Cup and they got rid of him because he stood up for the ladies.

It was humiliating…the dismissal of Lorne Donaldson was a massive error of judgment…fragile egos destroyed a promising team

1. Donaldson should not have been fired. He is by some considerable distance, the best coach the women's team has ever had.
2. Jamaica was being worked out, curtail Drew Spence and Bunny Shaw's potency is blunted. Look at their last few games at the World Cup. Fans then say Shaw is not prolific when playing high level Jamaican games. It is because the pieces around her, save Spence, are not high-level. This is further testament to the outstanding work Donaldson did and planned to do.
3. But for her being homegrown, Jody Brown brings NOTHING to the table. JFF, take my advice and invest in the U-17 left winger; she is a very special talent.

Jody Brown has regressed…not sure what happened to her…

Washington wasn’t bad..Primus ran a lot but was ineffective…Blackwood is a hard worker but you always fear a red card with her…Kiki Van Zanten looked below match fitness..not sure how much she has played since her injury…most if not all of the Jamaican players looked slow to the ball - and always struggled to match the USA team in their duels..

Not sure about the long goal kicks into no woman’s land strategy which just ended up recycling the pressure as the USA won those balls 90 percent of the time..

I would prefer them to play out from the back…they did that quite well against South Africa in a couple of friendly games late last year…

Drew Spence and Rebecca Spencer were missed…as was Bunny Shaw…

Not sure what’s the deal with Liverpool’s skipper Taylor Hinds…my gut feeling tells me that she’s holding out for a potential England call up…

Mexico has overtaken us..The Dominican Republic are making strides …Haiti are always dangerous…Jamaica will have their work cut out to qualify for the next World Cup…
