Sodden thinks you are Dinas....wrong
Sodden’s claims about Dinas are misguided. Dinas has consistently affirmed his commitment to preserving West Indies cricket, not undermining it. As the head of the West Indies Players' Association (WIPA), he has fought tirelessly for players' rights, even in the face of financial challenges.
It's crucial to keep in mind that significant financial contributions were made to support WIPA's initiatives by individuals like Chris Gayle, Shivnarine Chanderpaul, Sarwan, Brian Lara, and an oil company in T&T. Their investments were not just monetary; they represented a united front for the betterment of all West Indies players, regardless of their nation. Dinas exemplified leadership by championing their interests and ensuring their voices were heard. Sir Ramphal made comments and was shocked at the attitude of West Indies cricket administrators. I have mentioned to Dinas to save all documents and write a book exposing the lack of leadership at the helm.
Sodden's criticisms appear unfounded, especially considering he was rejected by the public in Barbados during an election. It seems he has directed his frustrations towards others, blaming Mia for the state of affairs while she prepares to run for office again.
Now, with the recent revelations about WIPA’s struggles, one must ask: how is the organization faring since Dinas’s departure? Is it still functioning effectively, or has it succumbed to the challenges it faced?
Ultimately, it seems that Sodden needs to reevaluate his priorities. Instead of casting blame, perhaps it’s time for him to focus on constructive solutions for the future of West Indies cricket.
He is not intelligent to proceed with the latter, looking at the individuals his island has been producing. I am away, or I would chew his rass out .
