…if they won’t allow supporters from certain countries if they qualify

Canada and Mexico would be better hosts anyway.

Better tip toe on that idea...Last time, USA was denied hosting rights, the
entire FIFA top notch folks were removed and jail terms were mooted for others.
CON country still rules lollol
USA is not a country ,but an Idea of a country.evil

The difference this time is US removing themselves. The US is literally saying you are not welcome here, while others are saying, we are not going. WC is likely to be a flop in the US as ICE agents will literally be ticket agents.

Not even the CON would be so stoopeed to cause such with so much $$$$$ on
tap to the USA Economy. The CON will adjust ,like he has with tariffs, and allow
folks in ,then at the conclusion return to Nonsense business. smile
One thing the Felonious knows is $$$$ in his pockets smile
AND FIFA won't stand for losing either. US has provided the most prosperous
returns in hosting WC Football .
With attention also to be drawn to the 250th USA anniversary Celebrations,
especially in Philadelphia,The CON stands to benefit
from unprecedented positive publicity in 2026 with America in the world's Limelight.
He might even have a second Birthday parade to Boot as the summer promises to
be unique and Very Special. lollol

If the supporters of any of the participating teams are not allowed to enter the US, then those teams should withdraw on principle ....

FIFA is no fool. It will place those groupings in Canada and Mexico.
That would be the first option. Some games could also be played
in South America or even Europe.
Barring significant Warfare on an international scale, the WC will not be
stopped,downgraded or downsized.
FIFA has too many options.
The pity is that with CONCACAF as host no Caribbean put their hats in the ring
to host a game or two if push come to shove. Jamaica being closest to the USA
does not have a good stadium to host even a game if push to shove.
Time long past when the Montego Bay venue at Catherine Hall should have
been upgraded to best international standards even if only 25-30k capacity.

As long as a cycle track remains in the Kingston Stadium, it will not be looked
at even with one eye lol

Trelawny Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Trelawny, Jamaica that was completed in 2007. It has a capacity of 25,000 people. It was built under an agreement between Jamaica and the People's Republic of China, that saw the PRC Government put up at least US$ 30 million needed for the project.

Now, perhaps cow pasture!

That didn't even play FC cricket there when JA hosted many games in the
Regional competition. Well maybe one but I can't recall.lol

The JLP adminsitrations from days of Busta's 'Gully Govt' have never
been kind to sports in providing infrastructure or maintaining those
in existence in a meaningful way. Talk about vision less. smile
