have value too. After months of deliberation, i have concluded that I cannot waste time and money to travel to look at this West Indies play. Once the schedule was released about the Australian tour, I was excited about going. However, over time, I kept asking myself if it is really worth it. I have heard and read all kinds of rationalizations for the poor performances of the team, but no one has ever called on these players for personal responsibility. Like politicians, they can just come up with a new person to blame, and like politicians, they have learnt that whatever they come up with, the people fall for it. I was cautioned that if I do not have other good reasons to travel at this time, that I should stay put, because I could very well need some things to do on days 3, 4 and 5. i thought about it and i concurred. So, no flying fish or spice or bois et eau. i am so sorry for those governments that continue to invest millions of dollars in stadiums for these players, and are condemned of doing nothing. What about personal responsibility?

Very pertinent query....
One of the biggest let down......players refusal or at times selfishness....which has contributed tremendously to demise of West Indies cricket from top tier ....
Take the instance of Pooran,Hety, Shepherd,.....these players earning millions.... through IPL, CPL etc. but are satisfied.....no urge to develop their game...play for West Indies in ODI or test....they have enough resources...can get personal coaching develope their all round game but alas....most athletes have short time to earn....they should maximize their earnings.....but not totally abandoned the parent institution..... giving back to.... from where they rouse...
