This game had nothing to do with poor selection or captaincy.

Slow strike rate during the first 10 overs when batted was the cause of our downfall today.

If the bowlers can’t defend almost 200 then you can’t really fault the captain who made 49 and the coach.

This was terrible bowling and fielding. We’ll likely lose the third game too. Hopefully we can win something against ireland before heading back

That's not the cappo or head coach.
That was Charles.

Correction a Scammy pick so yes, blame Scammy.

Smh... that was a 200+ deck.

In modern day T20s.. especially on small grounds like those anything below 200 is below par.

Blame that blind one for wasting a set of balls in the powerplay.

Johnson Charles the biggest culprit.

That was a 220+ wicket.

Agreed!
We have to make some changes
Too many young players around for Charles still to be in the mix.

So why you take away the captaincy from Rovman for again?

200 is par score if this format of late , all the top teams have proper technical batsman in the line up with a strike rate 140 + . Our batsmen look to the cow corner to relieve pressure with the block 3 dots.

If we continue with hit and miss players and keep recycling player who pick and choose when and where they want to play then we are exactly where we are.

Agreed.

This is a small ground with short boundaries. Kinda like Warner Park.

MINIMUM SCORE would be 200 to even have a hope of winning.

You would think this kind of ground would be right up our alley.

Instead, we lost Lewis first ball, Charles could not get going, Neither Could Rutherford and it was left to the lower order to salvage a total.

On a ground like this, less than 200 was never likely to be enough……especially with our bowling attack.

The coach did say he recognized we were not getting off to fast starts. Are you suggesting (a) the players have no respect for the words of the coach or (b) the coach can talk a bag of wind but lacks the competence to translate that to success?
