That was England’s goal all along when the kicked us out of County Cricket. They were finishing school for our past greats. Not anymore.

They didn't kick us out. Less and less of our players were good enough for the counties to select them as their overseas pros.

The counties instead were picking up Australians, Saffies, Kiwis and Indians as their overseas pros.
