you have very good/great batsmen and then you have utter garbage. proof is the minute they face a decent attack in remotely challenging conditions, they fold. another victim of the instant mentality that characterizes the millennials and gen z

Well, I think the bowling worldwide have become better, I cannot remember twenty-five years ago the ball swinging around as much as it does for as long as it does now.

well batsmen aint lasting long enough to take any kind of shine off the ball. look how many openers australia have considered and put into test cricket, without much success since the departure of david warner. some of the bowlers are very good, but i don't think we can argue that any of them are better than dale steyn, glenn mcgrath, mitchell johnson at his best. the batsmen either swing and out early or they hole up like kraigg and still out a little later but still early. in both cases, the shine on the ball remains

No longer are they proficient in the art of time-wasting. They should consult with the one Dinas, easily the most accomplished in our history.

lol. that too. but an abnormally high number of batsmen get bowled between bat and pad in our day. in times past, that used to be viewed as a major technical chink....you rarely saw lara or tendulkar or ponting or waugh or inzimam or dravid getting bowled between bat and pad. its very common these days.
