Dasilver is a liability in the test team, his athleticism and wicket keeping, is subpar. Batting and running between the wickets is atrocious.

VOR. I do not usually get involved in the petty arguments on this board but what is the difference between talent and application of talent? What use is unapplied talent? the fact is that with the top 6 averaging in the 20s, all are disposable. I have said so before. I am not fighting a battle for Josh but please do not give me crap about a man being more talented than another and both are averaging 25 in test cricket. That is similar to Slippy bemoaning the non-selection of Mckenzie as the best batsman in Australia when the whole team was so poor that the best batman could not even cross 150 runs in 4 innings. That was not being a "best" batsman because "best" is the superlative of good, not of bad or ordinary.
