I know Trump supporters who claim to detest racism, but are totally blind to Trump's "obvious" racism. Either that or they rationalize that his other "qualities" or "strengths" far outweigh his faults. I don't detest those people, but I am very disappointed in them.

I was there with you. But it is so bleeping obvious now and he clearly feels emboldened ..that unless you are stupid..you can't miss it. The people I know who support him still are def not stupid...but are a weird combination fo refusing the accept that they were 'wrong' and then some wannabe moguls who want to identify with the level of wealth...which they think will make them accountability-free like he appears to be.

I have the same dilemma with friends AND some family.
I cannot reconcile that they support Trump and what this administration stands for.
There exists a FUNDAMENTAL VALUES difference that cannot be overlooked or ignored.
So I no longer interact with them, despite our past connection.
If they were considered friends, then just give them time and space as they could
