Why are these idiots trying to turn this youth into an opener?

He scored most of his runs batting at 4-6... why all of a sudden they are forcing him to open the batting?

First with the WI team.. now its the Academy. Of course its another failure.. he's back in the pavilion already.

Also, why did they drop Dindyal who top score in the last match?

Even Motara was dropped.. its like only a few special names getting to play all the time and the others have to rotate.

Was that not a 4 day game? Probably they see him more as a 4 day player at this point? There are more games to play Bro. In regards to Jewel opening not sure what they are thinking.

Well if they think that about Dindyal it shows that they really don't know anything about these players. Might explain why they keep pushing Jewel as an opener.

Dindyal is someone who likes to play shots.. that inning in the 4day match he played well within himself.

He could also offer some off spin.. something the current XI does not have.

Excellent development tactics... drop the guys who performed and keep the ones who failing match after match.

- Motara got a few overs in one match.. looked impressive, even picked up wickets but now dropped.
- Dindyal top scored, now dropped.
- Pittman was by far the best pacer... he can't make the XI.

On de other hand, the two Bishop playing all the matches and failing in almost all... Clarke is another.

I can only hope, that's because they have seen enough of these and want to see others. Smh

Andrews might be being forced to come good too fast, the way he bats he should be a middle-order batter at this time of his career

The two Bishops are the most experienced players in the team that are playing other teams A class players. I see their selection.
Dindyal 82 was his highest and only score above 50 during this time. He is still only 20 and maybe they wanted to get both Andrew
and Johnson in the team in the top order.

This is Clarke's first year at the Academy and his last 4 scores are 51 yesterday, 57 in the 2nd Test. 42 & 36 First Test.
For the season he have 4 scores over 50.

They are trying to expose many young players. Most of these guys are home all this time not developing.

Dindyal played less than 5 matches.. so yes this is his highest score. What sort of message they sending to a youngster by dropping him just after he top scored for them?

I wasn't talking about Rivaldo... I am talking about the pacer who can't bowl a decent over to date. Especially for a guy who playing with this Academy team from the inception.

Yes that Clarke I agree with. Hopefully they will make changes going forward. Those two though are underperforming, like the senior players.
They are not rising their game at all. Auguste and Edward is rising theirs though.
