Look, Iran could at one time wanted to pursue Nuclear weaponry with their enrichment program
but even Russia ,their ally was not working or assisting with any weapons program.
The entire West was against them achieving that goal and even Russia as USA imposed stiff
sanctions which got progressively harsher and every USA president did this going as far as
seizing Iranian assets which after agreements with Obama ,were released and Obama though
Israeli propogander made it seem as if America gave them money .
Had Russia which or any other nuclear partner wanted them to have weaponry it would not take much
to give them from their pile.
But this would have warmed up the cold war and after the Soviet fell, that idea did not surface.
So the regulatory body was set to monitor Iran's program .
Israel was always insistent that they would not have nuclear weapons ,surrounded as they were
by Muslims/Arabs .This was critical especially after the Yom Kippur war of '67.
The USA, being the big boys gave and assist Israel its Nuclear weapons and assisted them in
all pursuits to that end. Even now Israel has never admitted that they are so empowered.
And they are not party to any monitoring by the Nuclear Authorities, in much the same way that
they don't respect or is a member of the International Court.
Why ?
They are the supreme proxy of the USA who controls.
Whatever the situation, being bordered and alone by 'enemies' it is only fitting and appropriate
that Israel should seek and have maximum protection and security. As long as the
USA exists, they will exist in the same way. But to emphasize this,Israel from time to time,being the tail that wags the dog(US)
gets the USA to war on their say so.
Even Obama who did not get along with Bibi, towed the line and followed with an Arab Spring, campaign that saw the fall
of Gadaffi and Libya and others all orchestrated by Israel and mainly Bibi. When Carter got Egypt to Treaty with Israel it
was a monumental move and that was nearly 50 years and it still holds but it led to the death of Sadat, the Egyptian leader.
None of us can affirm that Iran was only seeking peaceful use of nuclear power.
However one must not discount the reports of the Body in charge of making the assessments. It take time and special
expertise to reach the stage of enrichment to attain weaponry capability. Even you should be aware of that so when
Gabbard and everyone tasked with being accurate, she should be believed. Instead Trump insulted her so viciously
shamefully and publicly that one must really ask if Trump is sane.
Another thing ...this sudden agreement for cessation of 'war' as the Con trumpeted seems so weird. Don't it.
Was the talk of escalation and Real War,the closure of the Oil route by Iran prompted this move by Trump . Israel
the aggressor (they have attacked Iran's sites on numerous occasions prior) has suffered destruction in key
areas and its citizens are not all on board and have to be living in bunkers for over a week.
The cost in lives and infrastructure will be huge to all parties.
Trump may be crazy but he knows how to count money. The prospect that Oil(gas) would soar even by 10 cents a gallon
in the USA , would not sit well with even his most ardent MAGA supporter.
So as King, he called time.
Some things are sure tho even if you don't read the tea leaves.
This is not Peace and other similar chapters will be written. Israel this time miscalculated the measure of Iran's response
and the ability to inflict destruction and chaos in their country. The USA too was surprised and when the Con, said they
should fight for a while, he really shows the dept of his shallowness and stupidity.
Had Iran possessed one Warhead and showed their ability to breach the USA given Iron Dome, perhaps I would not
be here to respond to you and you would not get it
