WI & Australia name XIs

WIvsAUS: West Indies and Australia have named their playing XIs for the opening Test, starting on Wednesday in Barbados.

For West Indies, Brandon King is set for a Test debut, while Shai Hope and John Campbell make a return to the format.

It means Guyanese pair Tevin Imlach and Kevlon Anderson miss out.

Australia will be without the injured Steve Smith and Marnus Labuschagne, who has been dropped.

So, a man who has recent test experience is dropped for two guys who have been hop scotching the world playing T20 and ODIs?? Let’s see how that works out!
Is Hope a better keeper than Imlach??
I would have left out King and play Imlach!

Dam bro how’d we go from possibly seeing Pooran and Rutherford making a Test debut to recalling a bunch of mediocre players???

I’m not saying Pooran & Rutheford is going to make a World of difference but Campbell, Hope, & Chase… phew!!!!

The more things change the more they remain the same!!!

Why burden Hope with the gloves in his first Top level game in years ?
Imlach just showed he belongs behind the sticks.

This is unfair to the young player who played the 1st class tournament. Especially the ones that performed well.Guys who didn’t even care walk back the team without any commitment. Real sad . I prefer we loose within 3 days with loui, ,Anderson and Imlach: Real sad this . Only team in the world cricket this kinda things happen.

I'm leaning towards 3, that's if Australia bat first though.
