• Supreme Court ruling: The Supreme Court backed President Donald Trump’s effort to curtail lower court orders that have hampered his agenda for months in a case related to his birthright citizenship order.

• Trump touts “giant win”: At the White House, Trump called the court’s ruling a “victory for the Constitution, the separation of powers and the rule of law.”

• Trump’s stance: The president has claimed courts have overstepped their power by handing down “nationwide” orders that have temporarily blocked some of his policies, including his controversial plan to effectively end birthright citizenship.

• Birthright citizenship: The ruling leaves the future of birthright citizenship unclear, but signaled the president’s controversial plan to effectively end it may never be enforced.

• Jackson’s dissent: Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson in a dissent said the ruling creates “an existential threat to the rule of law” by allowing Trump to “violate the Constitution.”

They did long ago with the immunity from prosecution while conducting "official duties" What this ruling says is that on the very same matter "injunctive power of lower courts" they'll rule one way if the prez is a Democrat and another if a republican. Or, take up or not take up similar cases depending on who is the president. Nothing in their ruling is about the law. All partisan policies.
In all of history most time courts either give, define or hold up the rights of majority of people. This court though deprive majorities of rights and privilege time and time again.

I need our resident paralegal to explain to me how the constitution says born in the us = citizen end of story but Trump can put exceptions "by executive order" no less. I can understand if it was an act of congress and done thru amendment.

The "Constitution" is like a confederate dollar to this ruling party.
It is not worth the paper it is printed on.

You erroneous call it lawlessness. Meanwhile thr US economy continues to grow, inflation falls including gas prices, alance of trade is more favour able, bilateral trade deals signed and faboyr the US, Trump averts war between India and Pakistan to yhe point where Pak is calling for him to get Nobel Peace Prize, and the dangerous ayatollah in Iran is deterred from having a nuclear weapon ( at least for now) used not just on Israel but the West.

Meantime ignoring the the blatancy of the scandal Biden Whitehouse. There are so many more issues

Something is seriously wrong with you.

Spending too much time on right-wing social media is my assessment. Its sad how a grown ass man allows himself to be 'radicalized' and easily hoodwinked by propaganda.
