I congratulated Roston on his appointment as captain and I shared that even in a defeat, there are some positives to take away…removing Australia for 180 and then the sensational performance by Shamar Joseph. He proved that he’s not just a one hit wonder. Well, at that point one of the Aussie reporters Daniel Brettig?? said to me, would you get to your question? Obviously, he took umbrage by the needle on Ian Healy in my comment.
To which I raised my voice, a decibel or two and said to him, would you like to ask my question for me? Gone are the days when some of us were only allowed to be seen and not heard.
Then I turned again to Roston and continued. I’m sorry Ruston as I was saying Shamar does his talking on the cricket field sans sandpaper. It is the best performance by a bowler on debut at Kensington breaking the record of Jim Laker from 1948. And then I proceeded to ask my question.
