Holder the best fielder in slip..Recall...

Holder can be recalled..... simply on the basis of his slip catching.....

Shouldn’t be a criterion for selection but that was the worst catching display by a team I have seen for a long time

I would prefer Hodge, Athanase and Anderson in there if that is the criteria. Holder has shown no interest in red ball cricket so give the place to someone who really wants and desires it.
Clearly there was no thought put into the choice of captain and vice captain for this series and the negative effect tit would have on team selection.
Similarly with the batting selection and the effect it would have on the slip cordon.
We are all over the place.
