i don't understand why Jamaicans were worried about their athletics prospects. Jamaica has a system to find and nurture talent. you see it even at the CARIFTA games. More importantly, JA has a system to keep their athletes in jamaica. They don't rely heavily on the US collegiate system, like at all.

Chrissy The Claytons were great from High School true but, structure, program and coaching counts. Those things get you to the pro level.
Compare them to say A Keacy Carty or A Brandon King.

if all are at there best not anytime soon. Moreover, even with the support of fit Shelly and Sherica as support it will be very difficult to top US in 4x1.
Heck other comers, outsiders could even pip us too.
