Imlach must play in my team.

Apart from being the best keeper, he shows maturity and composure. He is great with reviews and is very confident with the bat.

Ditto

Sit King

Better yet, sit any of the openers and let King open.

I would keep Campbell! He just has to realize he is playing test cricket instead of limited overs and limit his shot selections accordingly.
Play Imlach and Hope bats at 3 or 4.

Before the squad and new captain was announced, I would have gone for this as my test squad:

1. M.Louis
2. J.Campbell
3. K.Carty
4. K.Anderson
5. J.Da Silva (c)
6. S.Hope
7. T.Imlach (w)
8. S.Joseph
9. J.Warrican
10. K.Roach
11. J.Seales

Reserves: S.Parris, J.Mohammed, J.Greaves, A.Joseph, J.Layne

Obviously, I was not expecting Chase to be recalled to lead the side but under Sammy, who really knew what to expect?

Now, with the first test in the books and West Indies already showing that once again, the batting is a considerable weakness, I would be sorely tempted to replace A.Joseph with a batsman, probably Anderson. This weakens the pace attack but Greaves, Warrican and Chase should be ample support to the frontline quicks Jayden and Shamar, who as it stands, are the only two world class players in the team.

As mentioned above, King as an opener is certainly worthy of consideration. Imlach and Anderson can both consider themselves unfortunate to have missed being selected for the opening test, I hope that the selection for the 2nd test shows this was a mistake.

Only to play his 100th test in Grenada. Then that’s it for him.

If La Cucaracha could not get a send off in Bim,
Why should Braffit get his 100th.

BRAFFIT CANNOT BAT.

Get out like a dunce in both innings.
Square up to a straight forward ball in 1st innings.
Clip a half-volley on legs straight to a fielder, placed there for that shot.
Ozzies bowlers are too good for Braffit to score against them.
Braffit technique is too poor.
Time to part ways with him and at least try someone new.

Campbell and Louis do not know where their off-stump is.
So you can't play both.
Keep Campbell for this series and open with King.
Bring in Imlach to keep.
