The man is vastly experienced, has got close to 6000 runs and multiple hundreds. Yes, he’s going through a bad phase but who doesn’t. And honestly there is no one else waiting in the wings to make the opening slot their own.

Brathwaite needs to be persisted with
With this mentality...no wonder West Indies continue to lose
In reply to ray
Who do you replace him with? Give me some names
In reply to brians_da_best
Anybody
Me granny ....
Quantity of Poor Experience can be worth nought and naught! We want quality Experience better yet expertise
In reply to imusic
I suppose he’s referring to Remember The Name Brathwaite
In reply to brians_da_best
DOn't care who replaces him...just replace him....god man, some of you really in love with people who consistently fail...and this after 99 tests
Just give someone else a chance...
Since you like failures, someone else failing should not matter to you, should it?
Unless, you have ah thing for Paint

Next game should be his last game. 100 and done. Thanks KB.
In reply to brians_da_best
because he is bajan and has no employment prospects outside the west indies and barbados pride. i applaud you for being concerned with his financial and employment prospects
In reply to voiceofreason
Next his last? But not for Roach a more deserving hey? You are like a Maga supporter where anything Chump does they justify, even extreme opposites. Roach no farewell test Sammy right, Kraigg 100 test send-off Sammy right.
In reply to Brerzerk
Chanderpaul a far more deserving cricketer was humiliatingly discarded, no one waited for him to complete a desired number of matches. What has West Indies cricket come to, when stupid insular fans are willing to risk a whitewash, so a failing player can attain his goal? WI cricket has gone to the dogs, even Brownie would agree with me

HOWDY, REDDDO FRND? HOW IS UR REDDDO FRND?
SHAMELESS SKUNT SUPPORTING REDDOS.
In reply to Slipfeeler
You are correct as far as Tage concerned...but this management has a different approach....if at all......one of openers get dropped...Louis comes in.....
In reply to Onionman0
I was not talking about Tage, I was actually referring to his legendary Dad.
In reply to Brerzerk
Roach should have been given a farewell no doubt. However water under the bridge. Let KB play his 100 and move on.
In reply to Slipfeeler
Chanderpaul was humiliated by Simmons....first.. personal grudge..... second..just few runs needed to be highest run getter for West indies......
Big Idiot, tried to intervene and make him play one final farewell test......but Simmons was adamant...got his way......
Simmons....taking Bangladesh the same path.....lost to Zimbabwe at home....now innings defeat vs Sri Lanka..
In reply to ray
Let move on from KB, but neither Campbell nor Louis is the answer to open the innings.
In reply to brians_da_best
People will stop taking you seriously

In reply to Jumpstart
I am so sorry for the bajan than horn you.
In reply to brians_da_best
I'm on the fence with this....on one hand KB needs to go but on the other opening the batting against what is probably the best bowling attack in the world can possibly destroy the confidence of any heir apparent so to speak if failing... much better to ease your way into what undoubtedly is the toughest batting position against lesser opposition an hopefully gain some confidence with runs under the belt.....so might aswell let KB soak up some some more punishment!!
If KB doesn't perform in the next match, he should be given a golden handshake!

In reply to XDFIX
Even if he performs. We allowed you to 100, now ... bye!
In reply to natty_forever
That would be harsh, bro. You can't punish a man for performance!
In reply to Onionman0
Please tell us what this personal grudge is /was that Phil Simmons has/had against Shivnarine Chanderpaul.
Thanks
In reply to XDFIX
I said that because I doubt he will.
KB trend, fail first 2 test, them make runs on feather bed 3rd test. Dwl
