Demanding silence until the court case is over is not how meaningful conversations about justice, accountability, or support for survivors happen.

The service club I am a member of helps such victims

Am I being fair to you to say you have already determined innocence/guilt?

But here is what makes these stories harder to ignore, they all provided evidence. Screenshots. Messages. Photos. Voice notes. Dates. Hospital visits. In some cases, they reported the incident immediately. In others, the shame and trauma kept them silent, until now.
This is not about guilt or innocence decided in the court of public opinion.

Meaningful conversations about justice and accountability are important, and I absolutely support survivors but not with silence
This pattern—of deflection, denial, and delay—serves only to embolden perpetrators and silence survivors.
That’s actually a big reason why I’m involved with our service club, which works directly to help victims. Male or female.

When one suggested holding off on certain discussions until after the court case, the intention, I hope, wasn’t to silence anyone or dismiss the importance of these conversations.
Rather, I hope it was to make sure we’re all mindful of the ongoing legal process and avoid any assumptions about guilt or innocence before all the facts are out. I don’t think it’s fair or responsible for me—or anyone—to make up our minds before the court has a chance to do its work.

I hope that clarifies where I’m coming from. I’m always open about how one can support victims and pursue justice in a way that’s thoughtful and respectful to everyone involved.

Your points and passion are noted.

This is not good for the accused; however, the courts should provide the balance needed so that those who are exculpated are the ones who should be relieved.

Lets see how it unfolds.

Nothing about rape bro'. Diddy's sex-capades caught up to him. As a black man with loads of money in a country where they will come after you the first mistake or stupid action you take he shoulda know better than to be doing that crap. But then the gangsta/thug mentality is what some thrive on in that business. J'Lo was smart enough to get outta his realm.

With rape prosecutors have to be certain - which is where rape kit results and doctors examination reports are key to produce DNA, skin cells, seminal fluid, etc. as telltale scientific/biological evidence. If not, everything else becomes he said she said and/or third hand testimony. Hopefully, all the so called stuff some say is absolute evidence has not passed through many of the wrong un-sanitized hands to disqualify evidence.

As a pastor, I appreciate Toney’s moral clarity. He writes, “He is not a hero. He is a predator.” This kind of direct language reflects what Ephesians 5:11 calls us to do: “Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them.” Too often, we speak in euphemisms about sexual violence, which minimizes the severity of the harm caused.
Dr. Fitzroy Tyrrell, a Guyanese.

Is he not quoting from a book, words that empower you?

But here is what makes their stories harder to ignore, they all provided evidence. Screenshots. Messages. Photos. Voice notes. Dates. Hospital visits. In some cases, they reported the incident immediately. In others, the shame and trauma kept them silent, until now.
This is not about guilt or innocence decided in the court of public opinion. This is about a system that repeatedly fails women. At the time, the alleged victim was 18 years old.

The above is what I wrote... Show me where I made leaps, please.

The leap Sarge is that you have already made up your mind…with righteous indignation to boot.

Not one single poster is seeking to defend , merely to “calibrate your apparent enthusiasm” ( Partigaz- Andor season 2)

I havent had a television in my home for over 15 years. So your ( Partigaz- Andor season 2) is unknown to me.

Your Bible notes :not to remain in abusive or harmful situations without addressing the root issues or seeking help.
Isn't this what these women are seeking?

I don’t think it’s fair or responsible for me—or anyone—to make up our minds before the court has a chance to do its work.

I noted the above. Can you pinpoint where I leaped?

I am presently in Brisbane, Australia, at the moment. approx 9am.

If you had heard comments from noon to 3pm on Fox radio yesterday about this West Indies player. I was astonished.

A few comments. He grew up in the Amazon Jungle; what do you expect?
: He should have been suspended.
: what do you expect from a 4th world country, Guyana?
: The Government and its cricket board are silent; they are supporting him after allegations were made in 2023
: A caller noted he read where this player was granted bail on such a charge.
I heard such on my way to Toowoomba .
