I watched him play. Came in at a difficult time when SA were 23/3, played with extreme confidence. Clean footwork and timing. Haven't seen that kind of footwork or confidence in the last decade of WI bats in test cricket.

Speaks volumes of the infrastructure and the quality of FC cricket in SA. The amount of talent available in the Caribbean is immense, raw but it needs some honing too.
