So, it is clear that Kraigg has digressed in the second half of his career, although not significantly.

Well the stats tell the story an i suspected as much but thanks for the research.....the thing is what to do with him...on balance i wouldn't discard him just yet against the best bowling attack in the world let him soak up some more punishment an see how he goes an then maybe try somebody else against a lesser attack in our next series.....wouldn't it be great if he could confound all of us an celebrate his 100th cap with a century....an then i woke up!!��

The celebration of Craig's 100th is a bittersweet moment for me. It's an anniversary of a death. Its hard for our generation to honestly say well done to 100 test at an average of 32 for a opener who has now faced the most balls for a WI batsman in test.

it's like inheriting a fortune 500 company and celebrating the sales of a one-door shop.

Absolutely it is hate,

@natty_forever some of stats can be appreciated as well.

he may be a very limited batter, but he was still good enough to make ICC team of the year 2022 and also has the best test average in a calendar year for all opening batsman. he has centuries against all major nations excluding India (Afghanistan and Ireland not mentioned among major)

the standard is lower, much much lower, he is nowhere near as skilled as his predecessors, that being said he is still the best test opening batsmen of his time and while not as good as the greats his name will be mentioned among them.

I am a devout Christian and certainly will not be substituting any words, how can you even say someone has earned hatred, he used what he had to get where he is, even if what he had wasn't much, the sad reality is that no one truly challenged him for his spot on the team, every other opener has been worst than him

he should respected for whatever little contribution he has made to West Indies Test Cricket especially in an era when others refused to represent us.

interesting that Clive Lloyd has the lowest number of ducks among that crowd and also that Shiv and Kallis played basically the same number of matches but Kallis made 2000 more runs
