You may be on to something.

Perhaps Sammy and staff mandated that players that drop catches and miss run outs are banished to franchise leagues for as long as Sammy is head coach.

I think for every drop the fielding coach should lose 5% of his salary

I love this idea…lower their base rate a bit and increase it by percentage for catches taken.

Deducting pay for errors solves nothing. In the workplace you train people in order to correct inefficiencies. If the employee cannot improve you separate. So, practice like they did with Brovo is the answer. If the trainer (coach) isn't good replace him
