Short memory, our angst with Alzari is that he is dawned inconsistent. How many will he take this series? Let him have us eat crow! Career Stats?

His very first over was a "here we go again" type. Thereafter, he settled down and bowled really well. Consistency should be his goal.

I couldn't understand how Winnie Benjamin a full length bowler coached Aljo and he couldn't learn it. Patto had a high rpo rate but also a very healthy sr. Aljo.needs more wkt taking deliveries.

The good thing is we now have three young fast bowlers, able to take 5fers, and willing to play tests.

Even Greaves (like Mayers before him) is a very handy back up seamer. It’s not all bad as far as the bowling is concerned. Now the batsmen need to step up

If West Indian fans can't call out the failures and shortcomings of their players without rebuke, then something is wrong with us. Friends, and those who care about the players, never lie to them. I am happy to witness slight improvements in Alzarri. Seales has improved leaps and bounds, and shows that he is learning fast. Shamar Joseph, although he used every opportunity with purpose, and looks good, I would wait a while to judge his development. So far good, and without interruptions, I expect improvements. But, part of their proper development depends on batting that allows them sufficient time to recover. When West Indian batsmen go out to bat, one of their preoccupation should be to give their bowlers enough time to rest. According to the Australian skipper, even if they never played in Grenada before, part of their excitement is thinking on their feet to come to grips with the unknown. Our players must adopt
that policy too.

I will reserve my praise for when I see Aljo consistently good.

He is known for a good innings now and then, so no praise yet.

3 innings to go.

For some years now, it has been evident that Alzarri Joseph has all the skills, the whole package, to be a fantastic fast bowler. At times, the weak slip fielding has let him down, as has his inconsistent line and length. However, it is important to remember that after his first few years when he was very inconsistent, he has improved and the statistics support that. At the age of 28, he is now at the stage of his career where we all want to see him take that next step and become the potent weapon he can be. Management of his workload will be key, as for many players, especially the fast bowlers.

I am always pleased to see him take wickets, we all should be.

You wasting your breath on that one. Genuine dislike for that bowler which is his right to feel that way. But sometimes it is obviously over the top and unjustified. Make you wonder if a daughter, a girlfriend or wife was involved.cool
