I think the entire West Indian came is aware of thr Aussie strategy. The difference is that they are restless.

Nothing much he could have done. Came back in sharply from wide outside the office stump.

Every ball he bowls has any batsman's name on it around the world. In fact all four of them. They are so accurate and versatile. They chip way, chip away. Relentless in their approach. Perfectly oiled and maintained machines.

Yes he could've.

Playing through the line so close to the stumps is always thwart with danger. King was compact in defense to yjode deliveries

of course he could have defended that. the man bowling from wide of the crease you must start by playing for the big inswinger

A possible solution was to bat as close to off stump as possible with a slightly open guard

It really difficult as they seam the ball both ways at high speed. Knowing when to play inside or outside the line to counteract swing and seam is for special players.

For average players, playing off the pitch is a luck of the draw. Getting closer to pitch to counteract angular movement is their best bet. West Indies batsmen are sitting ducks with their feet movement. Hope was batting out of his crease, which I thought was good move.

Did anyone watched that replay closely, looks like Cummins back foot was very close to the return crease

He was very special. Good hand eye and sharp reflexes. Man used to spend hours batting by himself in the nets.

It looked very close though just like the front foot would’ve love to see the position of his back near that return crease.
