Campbell improving with each innings

Campbell who was suspended from playing cricket for a number of years, returned to the test team, although he started back slowly trying to relearn his craft, fans are observing that with each innings, he demonstrating an improvement. Against Australian bowlers, he is now considered our top opener, considering that both Braithwaite and Tage desperately failed against Australia last year. Whike Braithwaite celebrating 100 test matches in abject disappointment and failure. We can only hope that Campbell will remain humble, ignore the naysayers and concentrate on building consistent long innings, for West Indies desperately needs him to come good. We are also hoping that Louis or another of the youngsters will join him successfully at the top of the batting order.

Most pleasing for me was Brandon King batting in the middle making a solid 75,i always thought his talent was better for us batting in the middle,these runs came against the best attack in test cricket.

This I can support. Long may it continue, test batsmen must attack, not merely survive.

I like this new batting order, I trust Carty will come good. There may be room for Hodge and Imlach and Da Silva should not be discarded or left in the wilderness.
