If Paint is Done, open with King...

King can open the batting...

He has done so in both White Ball formats...

Confident technique will go a ways to promoting a more sturdy Windies batting attack, especially if you insert Hope or Rutherford at #4

I think that could work ; bring in Anderson and have Hope at 4 with Imlach
the wk. Maybe for the D/N Test ???.
Would be tough to ask a newcomer to debut in such a Test. But...smile

Why the haste to discard Phillip? I do not find that he bowled badly.

Hope is a protected species in this WI setup.

They prefer to throw poor Jewel Andrew under the bus than put Hope to open, in a position where he has performed best, by some distance, in international cricket.

Hope bats where HE wants.

Nuh boddah wit de spin that he “sacrificing himself” to bat lower down to give others a chance to bat in their favoured positions.

Bullshit to de max with that one.
