If you put that way then the focus shifts to yhe batters.

I am thinking the way the lower order batted it must have been a management plan.

It reflected resignation and surrender to have been so reckless

Our batters lack basic technique and understanding of the game. So this is covered up by flinging their bats and calling it aggression. None and I say none of our batters in the Caribbean possess even 10% of basic technique. No coach can fix these deficiencies during a series. This has to be fixed before they make it to the test team. We can accept this or continue to bury our heads in the sand and pull names out of the bag as replacements. None are any better.

Don't forget we playing against perhaps the best ever 4-man attack in the history of the game,
How many wickets have Cummins,Stark,Lyon and Hazlewood have ?
OZ is 2nd best Team in The world,having just lost to Saffies in Title match.
Their batting is more than a bit brittle when you see a guy like Konstas opening.
But their bowling is World Class although all four are a bit long in the tooth and
not getting younger.

I acknowledge our batters are far below the best in international cricket. The pitch quality did not help our cause either game. So I am cutting them some slack, at leat for now
